December Prompt: What is your favorite holiday tradition?

Allie Hueffner, Marketing Automations Manager, said, “My sister and I make sugar cookies from scratch and decorate them!”
Devon Beck
Devon Beck, Senior Platform Architect, said this is his fave tradition: “On Black Friday instead of running to big box stores, we head out to our favorite tree farm and cut down our annual Christmas tree! TIMBER!! But first we make sure to stop at Starbucks and grab some yummy hot beverages, and then partake in the tree farm’s complimentary popcorn and apples… sometimes you may even see Santa walking around greeting you before heading out into the field and choosing the perfect tree!”

Content Manager Donna Chesman said, “We put up a small tree called a yolka, as is our New Year’s tradition since we’re both Ukrainian. Think X-mas tree, but it’s specifically for New Year’s.”

Kayla Mjaatvedt, Manager of Client Experience and Success, said, “I get really excited to wrap gifts every year, because I like to go all out. I pick a theme and usually stick to it, until I get burnt out and decide to throw everything left into bags. Cop out…I know!”

Stefanie Altman, VP of Marketing, said, “very year, my friends and I go to the Sgt. Peppercorn’s Marathon – it’s an ~13 hour event every December in which a group of local musicians we know (led by Joe Peppercorn, hence the name) play through every single song released by the Beatles in chronological order. It’s an absolute blast!”
